Cynthia Lennon Auction
The White Feather Foundation is offering fans the opportunity to own jewellery once owned by Cynthia Lennon in a special auction to benefit The Cynthia Lennon Scholarship for Girls, which will take place from July 22 – August 1, 2024.
The first item up for bid is a lovely orange necklace that Cynthia wore at the book signing for her memoir, “John”, at Waterstones in Liverpool on September 25, 2005. It is a delicate 5-strand macrame chain and measures approximately 18 inches at the drop of the necklace. Its clasp is a metal fastener at the neck.
The second item up for bid is a cream resin statement piece with a speckled pattern that was a favourite of Cynthia’s, which she wore on numerous occasions. It is a 3-strand chain that measures approximately 13 inches at the drop of the necklace, and has a hook-and-eye metal fastener at the back.
The winner of each item will receive the jewellery packed in a beautiful presentation box with a Certificate of Authenticity and the photo with Cynthia wearing the featured item.
Bidding starts at $100. All proceeds will go toward this year’s scholarship awards, to be announced on Cynthia’s Birthday, September 10th.
